It's never a great thing to see businesses get into trouble and disappear and clearly Front Row events got into trouble. I'm not that surprised, given the sector it operated in. Hospitality and sporting events have been squeezed heavily. Largely because that kind of event was enjoyed by bankers, solicitors and property agents, all of whom have been hit hard this year. talking to other conference and event organisers in the north west, I feel that we are six months from a real upturn. I am hearing of increasing numbers of enquiries at all stages of the supply chain and many clients are saying that they have actually had a good year's trade. The impact of the recession has been far from universal. This is one north west event organiser who is actually very optimistic!
