The Background:

The Survive and Thrive road show was a series of conferences and workshops designed to help companies manage throughout the economic downturn. Supported by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) and UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), the flexible events were designed to cater for local business people’s needs, allowing them to fit the support conferences offered around the demands of the day job.

The Brief:    

As a North West event management specialist, Assured Events were approached by Business Link to project manage this event, including sourcing venues for the conferences and workshops, audio visual services, staging, delegate management and catering. 

The Solution:            

A multiple venue road show, developed for a Client with third party interests required micro management of the detail to ensure successful delivery.  Regular client updates and status meetings ensured clients, suppliers and speakers were well informed and aligned.  Assured Events sourced good quality venues that could host main conferences, with facilities to run individual workshops and space for networking opportunities.  Core components of each workshop were identified to present best value for money solutions to the Client, whilst bespoke items such as delegate packs and badges were managed for each individual event.
