The Brief:    

All employees from our Clients four companies were invited to attend a corporate summer fancy dress party.  For the past two years, Assured Events have delivered the summer party and were approached to propose some theme options and supporting event activities that the guests could take part in.

The Challenge:

Each year, the corporate summer party is held at the same venue.  One of the key challenges faced by Assured Events was creating an impactful activity based event that required less than 8 hours set up and break down time - previous summer parties had included the installation of a fairground, no mean feat in a short time!   In addition, the fancy dress theme had to be something original, that could work for both genders and was appropriate for a corporate function.

The Solution:            

Assured Events came up with a party theme of 'Gypsies, Pirates and Thieves!'.  Full event management was provided, including transforming the venue room into a ship.  The provision of fairground rides, such as a pirate ship, ghost train and Miami ride added to the festivities, whilst curious party goers could see what the future had in store for them by visiting the gypsy tarot card reader.  Of course, with Assured Events on hand to manage the event from start to finish, the Client did not have to rely on a fortune teller for reassurance that the party would be another success!
