Leading event management specialist, Assured Events, has promoted Talitha Palmer Roberts to the position of account manager.
Talitha joined the Cheadle-based company in June 2006 and has already made a huge impression in her two years in the industry. Managing director, Karl Perry, explains: “Although still comparatively young, Talitha’s professionalism and enthusiastic approach made it impossible for me to overlook her when we were looking to fill what is a key position within the company.”
“It speaks volumes for Talitha’s ability that we have entrusted her with the responsibility of working closely with the likes of Coca-Cola Enterprises and even more so that our contacts there have said how pleased they are to continue working with her at a more senior level.”
With responsibilities ranging from research and dealing with suppliers to travelling abroad to assess venue suitability for future events, Talitha will now work with Karl and deputy managing director, Carol Ann Whitehead as the business continues to grow.
Having initially worked as an account executive, Talitha is now responsible for the management of entire events. Recent projects have included the organisation of themed annual summer party for Premex, the UK’s largest provider of medical reports for the legal profession, for the second year in succession. Conferences and incentive trips to Ibiza, Iceland and New York for elements of the Coca-Cola sales force and team building days at Peckforton Castle near Chester for senior management from the same organisation. Talitha is also working closely with Karl on the 125th Anniversary calendar of events for Stockport County Football Club. Later this year Talitha will be hosting one of three incentive trips to Iceland.
