Here at Assured Events, we have just completed the management of a Royal Visit and Facility Launch for our client , UK Biobank.
Her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal visited UK Biobank to officially launch this unique facility which has been set up to collect DNA from 500,000 people across the UK.
The DNA will be used to aid scientists studying the prevention and treatment of serious diseases, from cancer and heart disease to debilitating joint problems.
This high profile launch also included a conference, to announce new funding for the project.
