After delivering several successful projects for Stockport County FC, Cheadle-based event management specialist, Assured Events, has been appointed as the club’s official event management partner.
Having initially managed the club’s fashion show-style kit launch and Family Fun Day in July 2007, Assured Events followed that up by running a similar Open Day ahead of a recent friendly match against Liverpool. Stockport County managing director, Mark Maguire, comments: “When it comes to professionalism and delivering high quality events for our supporters, we are constantly trying to raise the bar.
“Karl Perry and his team have so far delivered two spectacularly successful events for us at Edgeley Park and in turning to them, we have found company whose creativity and attention to detail in delivering on their promises is second to none.
“Following that success, we are delighted to have reached an agreement whereby Assured Events is now recognised as the club’s official event management partner and we are very much looking forward to the next big occasion; namely the launch of our 125 year anniversary DVD which takes place at the Plaza in Mersey Square on Wednesday 20th August.”
Looking ahead to what promises to be a very special evening for everyone connected with Stockport County, Assured Events managing director, Karl Perry, comments: “We are naturally honoured to have been selected as the preferred event management partner for this famous old club and our team is now putting the finishing touches to preparations for what will be a fantastic event.
“Coming so soon after the club’s League Two Play-Off Final success at Wembley and with the town still very much on a high, we have been under pressure to host a memorable event that does the 125 year DVD justice.
“I can’t give too many secrets away but suffice to say that any true-blue County fans in attendance will be delighted with what they see both on the screen and in terms of some very special surprises.”
Mark Maguire concludes: “The 125 years DVD has been nine years in the making and is packed full of fantastic content. While we’re showing an edited version on launch night, the epic final product is some four and half hours long. That alone warrants a truly special occasion and I’m delighted that Assured Events will be involved to ensure that everyone connected wit the football club enjoys a night to remember.”
