Save the Nation!

Teams assume responsibility for the recovery and development of a third world country following the restoration of democracy after a military coup. Each team member is given a specific ‘job’ role within their countries’ infrastructure and they must work together to pool the given information to research, plan and implement each phase of a nationwide improvement programme.  

Resources are limited, mountains impassable, trade routes disrupted and the infrastructure in disarray but each team must successfully improve the lives of their citizens and set their nation on the road to economic prosperity. Updates via ‘CNN’ and real time events add to the unfolding drama - unforeseen complications and associated risks mean tough decisions will need to be made.

‘Project: Save the Nation’ is a fun, interactive and involving task that inspires creative and ordered planning and implementation.

This activity is suitable for 10 to 300 people and can run for 1.5 to 3 hours.

 

 

Trebuchet Challenge

This activity requires teams to take part in mini tests in order to earn cash to buy parts to build a trebuchet.  Once the trebuchet has been built the teams can then take part in a tournament, launching projectiles at targets and other teams!  The trebuchet is not the easiest thing to build or use with accuracy so the team will have to work very closely to fathom out the solution. This activity would last 2 hours and is appropriate for multiple teams of up to 10 people.

 

 

The Krypton Factor

The TV show is back! Guests will be split into teams and using communication, imagination, fitness and cunning they will need to score highly in each round in a bid to gain the highest Krypton Factor Score.  Teams will compete head to head in a variety of rounds testing mental agility, observation, physical ability and general knowledge.  The challenges set are demanding, achievable, interesting and fun and will require both thought and action. Whilst on some exercises a little physical effort may be required they will not be physically demanding.  Scoring is devised to enable the competitive to compete whilst those who simply wish to enjoy the day can do so.   However, only the team with the highest combined score in all the rounds will be awarded their winner’s medals and become the title of Krypton Factor Super Team!

This activity can run for 1 to 2.5 hours for groups of 10 to 300 people.

 

 

The Bigger Picture

This indoor team building event requires small teams to work to collectively recreate a work of art from limited available information. Team members have to find out who’s piece theirs fits with whilst making sure colours and lines match up. Just to make it a little more challenging the team will also be aiming to scale up the painting to make it twice as big!  At the conclusion of the event, the group gathers together in an attempt to assemble the individual pieces correctly within a framework and the picture is completed – quite often with hilarious results.

This event emphasises the need for clear and accurate communication, encouraging people to work together knowing their individual task played an important part in creating ‘The Bigger Picture’.

This activity can run from 1 to 3 hours for groups of 10 to 500 people.
