Previous experience:

I joined Assured Events in June 2006 as an Account Executive. I had previously been working as a Banking and Savings adviser for HBOS in their Wrexham branch.

I brought with me skills such as great time management, budget management and an ability to engage with people with ease. Since then my experience has increased astronomically and continues to rocket!

Having work up through the AE role to Account Manager I became an Account Director in January 2011. I work across all of the agency’s accounts but particularly CCE and Molson Coors Brewing Company which I have worked with continuously since joining the company.

I’m working in events because…

I love a challenge, I have a ‘can-do’ attitude, enormous enthusiasm and a penchant for attention to detail!  

We work on everything from creating an event concept to the finished article which makes my job incredibly diverse.
This includes everything from tapping into the target demographic and designing a program to engage them, creating and producing communication collateral, to sourcing the perfect suppliers to create an event and managing the event on the day.

It takes a great project manager, a connoisseur of attention to detail – some call us OCD!

I don’t just work with activity companies and venues, we deal with everyone from creative agencies, print, membership only bars, charter airlines… you think of it and we know someone!

My favourite projects are incentives and top-end client entertainment making my customers look great! Creating that ‘once in a lifetime’ experience for someone and seeing how ‘wowed’ they are is unbeatable.
I am very lucky to have travelled a fair bit sourcing the most appropriate hotels, bars, activity and transfer companies, around the world for various projects.

Outside of work, I like…

Keeping fit with Iyengar yoga, squash, British Military Fitness and running. I also have a passion for great food and wine, particularly Greek, Spanish and Persian food!

I trained in dance which although I no longer practice it I love watching contemporary dance, fringe theatre and great bands.

A florist with a boutique clothes shop next door!
