The 2012 Music Festivals are Coming

V Festival  Bestival  Reading and Leeds Festival

As we start the hit the middle of the summer (yes it’s been a bit wet, but we are optimistic!), it is time to look forward to Festival Season really hitting top gear.  At Assured Events, we are so excited about V Festival this weekend that we are going to review the best of 2012 so far and get you set up for the rest of the summer.

We hope you didn’t miss.....

T In The Park:  Scotland’s biggest festival was a fantastic weekend and the weather held off right until it was time to go home.  Highlights were The Stone Roses playing ‘I Am The Resurrection’ and Example getting the crowd bouncing with what became known as the Example Earthquake!

Isle of Wight:  With no Glastonbury in 2012, The Isle of Wight took place on the traditional Glasto weekend.  Sadly, it was this weekend that the weather turned crazy and wet – but the spirit of the festival wasn’t affected – the atmosphere was amazing according to Sarah who was there.  Highlights were Elbow and Pearl Jam bringing the house down.

You’ve still got this to look forward to.....

V Festival (18-19 August):  The Stone Roses continue their re-union tour – we saw them at Heaton Park – the show is not to be missed!  Don’t miss Tinie Tempah too, following on from his excellent performance at the Olympic Closing Ceremony.

Bestival (6-9 September): Bestival is well known for its diverse mix of artists and 2012 does not disappoint.  Legends like Stevie Wonder will play on the same bill as new acts like Rizzle Kicks.  You can even see Chas And Dave if you really want....we won’t say anything, we promise.

Reading and Leeds (24-26 August): One of the biggest festivals of the year is Reading and Leeds – here you will be able to catch The Vaccines, Graham Coxon and Kasabian, who are headlining Sunday night in Leeds and Saturday in Reading.

Assured Events can offer unique experiences for all of the summer’s best festivals – contact us to find out how you can use festivals to entertain your customers or incentivise your team and rock out in style!
